Move Dance is Europe\’s largest dancewear retailer and in this exciting time of growth we are looking for a Photographer/Videographer to join our marketing team.
This would suit you if you:
- Are looking for a part time photography role (22.5 hours per week) paying between £24K – £26K pro rata
- Have at least 1 years experience working in a photo studio as a photographer, videographer and retoucher
- Have retouching experience
- Are able to edit videos
- Are able to commute to our location near Manchester Airport
Key Responsibilities:
- E-commerce photography and video: Photographing and videoing new or existing products with models in the studio
- Product photography: tabletop images for dance shoes and accessories
- Organising shoots and booking models, build a good relationship with models to communicate and direct them effectively on shoot days
- Cull and export images and video into relevant files, keeping these organised in folders
- Retouching and re-sizing images to our style and standard to keep a consistent look of photography on site
- Prepare for shoots by creating mood boards, shot lists and an understanding of the photography brief
- Uploading images to the website using tool
- Collaborate with campaign marketing manager and graphic designer on monthly in-studio promotional photoshoot for email campaign content
- Manage the studio to ensure it is kept tidy and equipment is working efficiently.
- Pro-actively seek new models through castings
- Organising the admin of model call sheets, model release forms and invoices.
- Work alongside social media executive to create flat lays in the studio to be posted on social media
You will have:
- Degree or similar in Photography
- Retouching & web exporting experience
- Video editing experience
- Creative mindset
- Strong attention to detail
- Good time management skills and the ability to prioritise
- Technical skills; can use and understand programmes easily
- Skilled in Photoshop and Premiere Pro
- Good communication skills
