Digital Designer (f/m/d)
What to expect
The Digital Designer is responsible for creating compelling marketing assets that reflect the brand and support marketing initiatives.
This role requires expert knowledge of design, coding, tools and skill in every step of the design process, from concept to final deliverables.
Working cross-functionally, the designer transforms written or verbal ideas into impactful visual storytelling across digital experiences with front end coding and development for email and web design.
- Develop and present design concepts by creating initial sketches and mockups that explore layout, size, and style.
Submit these concepts for review and approval before moving into production.
- Create visual assets that effectively communicate the brand message, engage the target audience, and meet objectives.
Deliverables may include emails, landing pages, digital banners, graphics, icons, infographics, animations, videos, plus some print materials as needed.
- Coding and front-end development for emails and landing pages.
- Extensive testing and troubleshooting through browsers and email client software.
- Conduct research on products, technologies, audiences, and topics to inform concepts and visual solutions.
- Accept and incorporate feedback constructively and positively.
- Collaborate with teams to align visuals with marketing and business goals.
- Coordinate artwork approvals across various teams as needed.
- Complete production tasks as needed.
- Prepare and deliver final assets using appropriate tools and software.
- Maintain brand consistency and adherence to style guidelines and templates.
- Maintain accuracy and attention to detail throughout the creative and production process.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment, meeting deadlines and following precise specifications.
What we are looking for
- Bachelor’s degree in design, Fine Arts, Visual Communication, UI/UX or a related field, or equivalent education and/or approved relevant experience.
- Minimum of 1+ years in-house or agency experience.
- Creative, positive and strategic thinker with a strong eye for layout, color, and typography.
- Proficiency with coding HTML, CSS, Bootstrap and other front end development techniques. Knowledge of Java Script/j Query and Lottie Files a plus.
- Proficiency in Figma, Adobe Creative Cloud: (Firefly, Photoshop, Illustrator, In Design, After Effects, Dreamweaver), Visual Studio Code.
- Experience with AI tools for ideation, image/video/code generation, and writing and refining prompts.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Suite: (Copilot, Outlook, Excel (spreadsheets and formulas), Power Point, Word).
- Comprehensive knowledge of design, techniques, best practices and ability to create responsive and accessible customer/user experiences.
- Working knowledge of print production.
- High computer literacy and adaptability to new tools and technologies.
- Proficiency with mac OS.
- Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and organized.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills in English or local language and ability to interact with internal and external customers.
