About the Role
We’re hiring a Videographer & Photographer to join our UK office and help bring our brand to life through bold, high‑impact creative. In this role, you’ll have the opportunity to capture our industry‑leading products in action, from extreme stunts to high‑energy launches to premium lifestyle content that showcases our products in the real world. You’ll be part of a fast‑moving, ambitious team with clear opportunities to grow your craft and expand your impact. This is a hands‑on, team‑oriented role where you’ll share ideas, divide responsibilities on set, and help bring creative concepts to life together. The role offers exposure to global campaigns and international shoots, giving you the chance to contribute to creative seen by millions globally.
About You
You’re a technically skilled and highly organised creative who takes real pride in producing world‑class visual content. You value the craft and process behind creating content from pre‑production and lighting setups to camera operation, sound, and post‑production workflows. Your attention to detail ensures every frame meets a high technical and creative standard. You would be confident in supporting and running shoots end‑to‑end, and working closely with our Junior Videographer and Photographer as well as our Creative Production Lead to collaborate on shoots and support across the full production process. Whether working independently or as part of a team, you’re reliable and able to keep things running smoothly on set. You’re comfortable working in fast‑paced environments and managing timelines while maintaining quality. Alongside strong production skills, you have a commercially aware mind. You understand how creative decisions translate into effective content across platforms, by striking a balance between strong storytelling and an understanding of audience behaviour and performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the planning, setup, and execution of photo and video shoots
- Prepare, maintain, and manage camera, lighting, and production equipment
- Capture high‑quality product lifestyle photography & videography in both lifestyle and studio environments
- Produce behind‑the‑scenes (BTS) documentation during shoots
- Create short‑form video content for social, web, and paid channels
- Assist with post‑production, including editing, colour grading, motion graphics, and asset preparation
- Ensure shoots are delivered on schedule, within budget, and with organised asset management throughout production
How will success be measured?
- Delivering premium high‑quality video and imagery that aligns with Mous’ adventurous brand aesthetic
- Producing high‑quality performing edits, especially for paid social ads, that perform across platforms
- Confident autonomous operation of camera and lighting equipment on shoots
- Smooth integration with Mous systems and editing workflows (Premiere Pro, After Effects, Lightroom, Photoshop)
- Consistently delivering content on time and in line with NPD and campaign launch timelines
- Supporting the team in producing a high volume of commercially effective content across social, web, and paid channels
- Demonstrating strong organisation and reliability across shoot planning, production, and post‑production workflows
- Contributing to continuous improvement in content quality, efficiency, and creative output
Skills requirements
Hard skills- Over 3 years of experience as a videographer, photographer and/or editor
- Strong creative eye for composition, lighting, and visual storytelling
- Proficiency in the Adobe Creative Suite, including Premiere Pro, After Effects, Lightroom, and Photoshop
- Strong understanding of video editing, colour grading, and post‑production workflows
- Extensive experience operating professional camera systems (ideally Sony)
- Strong experience working with professional lighting setups
- Experience capturing product and lifestyle content, including working with models or talent
- Experience shooting in studio environments (e.g. talking heads, controlled lighting setups, probe lens product shots)
- Calm under pressure in fast‑paced shoot environments
- Strong collaboration and communication skills
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail
- Proactive and able to take ownership of tasks from planning through to delivery
- Adaptable and able to respond quickly to evolving briefs or shoot conditions
- Open to feedback and committed to continuously improving creative output
- Experience shooting stunt or high‑impact product demonstrations
- Understanding of paid social content formats and performance‑driven creative
- Experience working in fast‑paced commercial or e‑commerce environments
