About Mous
We are Mous. (Pronounced mouse, not moose.) People deserve tech and lifestyle products that are fit for purpose, perform as promised, and empower them to be their best. That’s why we’re building the go-to brand for products that genuinely deliver. For over 10 years, we’ve pushed product performance to its limits, designing from first principles, validating through real-world testing, and investing millions in R&D. In parallel, we’ve built world-class in-house marketing capabilities, creating highly engaging, performance-led content that proves what our products can do and resonates with a passionate, fast-growing community around the brand. From throwing phones off dams to launching category-defining products, our ambition is simple: raise the standard of the industry and build one of the most effective consumer brands in the world.
About the Role
We are looking for someone to become the lead on-camera talent for our fast-growing, premium global brand. You will help shape both our online presence and our broader marketing output. This role sits across two things: fronting content, from viral short-form stunts to a genuine long-form YouTube presence, and bringing a real second skillset, whether that's hands-on content creation (ideation, scripting, self-shooting) or strategic marketing (communications strategy, copy, customer insight, ecommerce/retention). You'll help define the formats and franchises that carry Mous' content as our YouTube presence scales. Over time, this is a real route into a broader generalist marketing role at Mous, with on-camera work as one part of what you do rather than the whole job. You’ll collaborate closely with our CMO, Content Production and Creative Strategy teams, partner with Product and Engineering to bring product stories to life, and work directly with our CEO on flagship content.
About You
You're a natural in front of a camera, and it shows the moment you start talking; people believe you're an authority instantly, and that presence carries across everything from a 15-second stunt to a 15-minute video. You're excited by the range this role demands, not intimidated by it. What makes you right for this is the second gear: a knack for creating content yourself, or a sharper strategic marketing brain, and the ambition to grow that into a genuinely broader marketing role. You're the type of person who defines what that looks like rather than wait to be told. You take direction well, iterate fast, and throw yourself into a shoot day or a stunt, but you're equally motivated by the strategy and craft behind the camera as the performance in front of it.
Key Responsibilities
- On-Camera Presenting – Front Mous content across all channels and formats, from short-form stunts to long-form YouTube content, as our primary on-camera talent.
- Production Support – Perform in modelling, stunts, and production shoots, taking direction well and iterating quickly based on feedback from the creative team.
- Second Lane: Content or Strategy – Depending on your background, either take a hands-on role in content creation or contribute to strategic marketing.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration – Work closely with content production, creative strategy, and our CMO. Partner with Product and Engineering, and with our CEO directly on flagship content.
- Format Development – Help define and evolve the formats that carry our content as our YouTube presence and broader content strategy scale.
How will success be measured?
- Quickly earn credibility on camera, both internally and with our audience.
- Deliver a consistently engaging performance across a genuinely wide range of formats and content types.
- Define and deliver a clear second lane alongside presenting commitments — either content creation or strategic marketing.
- Materially reduce the need for our CEO and CMO to appear on camera, by becoming the face our audience associates with Mous content.
