About Mous

We are Mous. (Pronounced mouse, not moose.) People deserve tech and lifestyle products that are fit for purpose, perform as promised, and empower them to be their best. That’s why we’re building the go‑to brand for products that genuinely deliver. For over 10 years, we’ve pushed product performance to its limits, designing from first principles, validating through real-world testing, and investing millions in R&D. In parallel, we’ve built world‑class in‑house marketing capabilities, creating highly engaging, performance‑led content that proves what our products can do and resonates with a passionate, fast‑growing community around the brand. From throwing phones off dams to launching category‑defining products, our ambition is simple: raise the standard of the industry and build one of the most effective consumer brands in the world.

About the Role

We’re looking for a Marketplaces Growth Manager to take ownership of one of Mous’ fastest‑growing commercial channels by scaling our global marketplace presence and unlocking the next phase of growth. Amazon is already a significant growth opportunity for Mous, and this role is about building on that momentum. You’ll own the strategy, performance, and expansion of our marketplace business across 9 markets by identifying opportunities, improving how we operate, and turning insights into measurable commercial impact. This isn’t a role focused purely on marketplace execution. You’ll have the opportunity to shape the direction of the channel, whether that’s launching new products, improving profitability, optimising the customer journey, expanding into new markets, or making Prime Day a huge success, you’ll be at the centre of it.

Reporting directly to our Head of Commercial and managing our Marketplaces Executive, you’ll have the autonomy, visibility, and ownership to make a real impact. As the channel continues to grow, you’ll play a key role in shaping the future of the marketplaces function and building a team around it.

About You

You’re an ambitious marketplace expert who understands what it takes to win on Amazon and wants the opportunity to have real ownership over a high‑impact channel. You’ll be commercially driven, analytical, and proactive, someone who can look at performance data, identify opportunities, and turn insights into action. You’ll balance strategic thinking with getting into the detail, whether that’s improving listings, scaling advertising, solving operational challenges, or finding new growth opportunities. You’ll enjoy working cross‑functionally and influencing teams around you, bringing clarity, structure, and momentum to a fast‑moving environment. This role is for someone who thrives with autonomy, takes ownership of outcomes, and wants to build rather than simply maintain. You’ll be excited by the chance to help shape the future of Mous’ marketplace growth and play a key role in scaling a global consumer brand.

Key Responsibilities

  • Help build and define the marketplace strategy, setting a clear direction for growth and driving performance across the channel, with a primary focus on Amazon.
  • Lead end‑to‑end performance reporting, delivering clear, actionable insights across key areas including sales performance, stock availability, aged inventory, and the effectiveness of brand vs paid activity.
  • Manage and develop the Marketplaces Executive, providing guidance, structure and support to ensure strong execution and continued team growth.
  • Work closely with the Growth team to shape and optimise the Amazon advertising strategy, ensuring alignment between paid media and overall commercial objectives.
  • Leverage Amazon as a launchpad for international expansion, identifying opportunities to enter and scale in new markets and regions.
  • Own planning and readiness for key trading moments such as Prime Day, Black Friday, and major product launches, ensuring the business is set up to maximise performance.
  • Coordinate cross‑functional activity across pricing, promotions, inventory planning, and campaign execution to drive marketplace growth.
  • Partner closely with internal teams to continuously improve content quality, optimise the customer experience, and maintain strong catalogue hygiene.

Success Measurement

  • Define and execute a clear, scalable marketplace strategy, establishing a strong direction for the function within Mous and aligning it to overall business goals.
  • Deliver a clearly defined path to incremental growth, identifying and unlocking new opportunities to drive sustainable revenue across marketplaces.

Hard Skills

  • Strong understanding of Amazon and its associated tools and ecosystem (Seller Central, Helium10 etc).
  • Proven experience managing and optimising marketplace advertising performance.
  • Highly analytical, with the ability to interpret data and translate insights into action.
  • Solid understanding of inventory and logistics management, including stock health and availability.

Soft Skills

  • Effective people management, with the ability to support and develop junior team members.
  • Strong commercial acumen, with a focus on driving revenue and profitability.
  • Confident stakeholder management, able to collaborate cross‑functionally and influence outcomes.
  • Excellent prioritisation skills, able to balance multiple workstreams in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Adaptable and proactive, comfortable navigating change and ambiguity.

Nice‑to‑have

  • Technical data skills (e.g. advanced Excel, SQL, or similar), with the ability to work with large datasets.

Our Offer

We operate a hybrid working model, typically spending at least three days a week in our Hoxton office to maintain our collaborative and high‑energy culture. Benefits include:

  • Significant opportunity for growth, ownership, and career progression.
  • Competitive salary reflective of experience and impact.
  • 30% Friends & Family discount on all Mous products.
  • 25 days’ holiday + 8.
