About Mous
We are Mous. (Pronounced mouse, not moose.) People deserve tech and lifestyle products that are fit for purpose, perform as promised, and empower them to be their best. That’s why we’re building the go‑to brand for products that genuinely deliver. For over 10 years, we’ve pushed product performance to its limits, designing from first principles, validating through real-world testing, and investing millions in R&D. In parallel, we’ve built world‑class in‑house marketing capabilities, creating highly engaging, performance‑led content that proves what our products can do and resonates with a passionate, fast‑growing community around the brand. From throwing phones off dams to launching category‑defining products, our ambition is simple: raise the standard of the industry and build one of the most effective consumer brands in the world.
About the Role
We’re looking for a Senior Business Analyst to take strategic ownership of Mous’ Amazon marketplace channel, a fast‑growing £8M P&L that sits at the heart of our commercial strategy. Amazon is already a significant growth opportunity for us, and this role is about building on that momentum. This isn’t a role about mastering the ins and outs of a single platform. You’ll own the strategy and performance of the channel end‑to‑end: setting direction, making commercial calls backed by data across advertising, inventory and content. You’ll spend your time on the problems that matter: where to focus, what’s working, and what to change next, rather than being pulled into the weeds of day‑to‑day platform mechanics. You will report directly to our Head of Commercial, work closely with our in‑house Creative, Growth and Data teams, and get the opportunity to manage and develop our Marketplaces Executive. For the right person, this role offers strong ownership and visibility, with responsibility for helping to scale both the team and the P&L, meaning there’s a real opportunity to drive growth and directly influence business performance.
About You
You’re a structured, commercially sharp thinker, the kind of person who’s experienced in solving problems, whether in consulting, on a graduate scheme, or as a business analyst, and who’s ready to own outcomes rather than just recommend them. You’re comfortable moving between the big picture and the detail: building a business case one day, digging into a P&L the next, and briefing your team on what needs to happen after that. You’re driven by data, confident making commercial trade‑offs, and know how to project‑manage multiple moving parts without losing sight of the goal. You don’t need to have worked on Amazon or marketplaces before, that knowledge is a nice‑to‑have, not a requirement. What matters more is a genuine interest in B2C/DTC businesses, and the appetite to take on more ownership and impact than the typical analyst role offers. You’ll be excited by the chance to help shape the future of Mous’ marketplace growth and play a key role in scaling a global consumer brand.
Key Responsibilities
- Own the strategy for Mous’ marketplace channel, setting direction and priorities
- Lead end‑to‑end performance reporting across the channel – sales, stock availability, aged inventory, and paid vs. brand performance – translating data into clear commercial recommendations
- Coordinate and direct team across advertising, inventory and content to execute against the strategy
- Partner closely with the Growth team to shape the Amazon advertising strategy, keeping it aligned to wider commercial objectives
- Use the channel as a platform for international expansion, identifying and scoping opportunities to enter and scale new markets
- Own planning and readiness for major trading moments such as Prime Day and Black Friday, ensuring the wider team is set up to perform
- Manage and develop the Marketplaces Executive, providing structure and direction as the team grows
- Make commercial and project‑management calls across pricing, promotions and inventory planning to keep the channel on track
How will success be measured?
- Define and execute a clear, scalable marketplace strategy, establishing a strong direction for the function within Mous and aligning it to overall business goals
- Deliver a clearly defined path to incremental growth, identifying and unlocking new opportunities to drive sustainable revenue across marketplaces
- Demonstrable commercial impact on the £8M P&L through revenue growth, improved operational efficiency, or both
- Strong visibility and trust from senior stakeholders in your reporting and recommendations
- Develop and elevate the Marketplace Executive, building capability within the team and ensuring high standards of execution as the function scales
