About Mous

We are Mous. (Pronounced mouse, not moose.) People deserve tech and lifestyle products that are fit for purpose, perform as promised, and empower them to be their best. That’s why we’re building the go-to brand for products that genuinely deliver. For over 10 years, we’ve pushed product performance to its limits, designing from first principles, validating through real-world testing, and investing millions in R&D. In parallel, we’ve built world-class in-house marketing capabilities, creating highly engaging, performance-led content that proves what our products can do and resonates with a passionate, fast-growing community around the brand. From throwing phones off dams to launching category-defining products, our ambition is simple: raise the standard of the industry and build one of the most effective consumer brands in the world.

About the Role

As a Demand Planner, you will play a critical role in shaping category performance through best-in-class demand planning and forecasting. This role sits at the intersection of Commercial ambition and Operational execution, translating growth plans, product launches, and performance targets into clear, actionable demand signals. Working across a fast-moving and complex SKU portfolio, you will help drive availability, inventory health, and profitability ensuring the business is positioned to execute its growth strategy effectively. Your forecasts will inform key decisions around investment, supply, and scaling, giving you meaningful influence on revenue performance, stock risk, and working capital outcomes. Partnering closely with the Category Lead as well as Growth, Product, and Production teams, you will contribute to how we plan, launch, and optimize category performance. You will own core components of the planning cycle while supporting wider S&OP processes and strategic initiatives. With strong cross-functional exposure and proximity to decision-making, this role offers an excellent platform for someone looking to expand their commercial acumen, deepen strategic planning capability, and grow into broader category or supply chain leadership over time.

About You

You’re not just good with numbers; you understand what they mean for a business. You’re analytically sharp, commercially curious, and comfortable with challenging assumptions. You enjoy translating complexity into clarity and influencing stakeholders through data-backed insight. You thrive in fast-moving environments where ambiguity exists, bringing structure and rigor without slowing momentum. You’re confident working cross-functionally and can balance demand ambition with operational reality. Most importantly, you take ownership. When something impacts demand, availability, or forecast accuracy, you lean in rather than step back, proactively solving problems and driving outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own demand forecasting across a complex SKU portfolio.
  • Build and maintain robust forecasting models using large datasets.
  • Evaluate demand for new products without historical data (e.g., new variants or launches).
  • Translate commercial strategy, growth plans, and stakeholder inputs into actionable demand plans.
  • Collaborate with senior stakeholders to align forecasts with strategic sales expectations.
  • Support S&OP processes and contribute to category planning decisions.
  • Drive planning outcomes that improve availability, inventory health, and cost efficiency.

How will success be measured?

  • Forecast accuracy and reliability across the SKU portfolio.
  • Strong product availability and reduced out-of-stock risk.
  • Balanced inventory health, minimizing excess stock and cost inefficiencies.
  • Effective translation of commercial inputs into executable operational plans.
  • High-quality stakeholder collaboration and S&OP contribution.

Skills requirements

  • Highly analytical and detail-oriented.
  • A confident and proactive communicator.
  • Able to prioritise and manage multiple workstreams.
  • Collaborative and culturally aware.
  • An end-to-end thinker with strong ownership and learning agility.

Requirements

  • Proven 2-4 years of experience in demand planning, forecasting, or supply planning within a complex SKU environment.
  • Advanced Excel skills with the ability to manage large datasets and build forecasting models.
  • Strong analytical capability, including forecasting new products without historical data.
  • Experience collaborating with commercial and operational stakeholders.
  • Understanding of availability, inventory, and cost trade-offs.

Nice to Have

  • Exposure to S&OP processes.
  • Experience in D2C, Tech, CPG, or FMCG environments.
  • Exposure to product launch cycles and seasonal planning.
  • Basic SQL, Power BI, or dashboarding experience.
