About the Role
We\’\’re excited to announce an opportunity for a Digital Product Designer to be a part of our expanding team! As we grow both steadily and swiftly, we\’re embarking on numerous new digital projects to enhance the website buying experience for users. For these ventures, we require an enthusiastic individual who can own the UX and UI of our website, ensuring that it not only looks exceptional but also performs seamlessly.
You’ll be responsible for translating Mous’ premium visual identity into a high-performance, elegant, and intuitive digital experience, while leading both large-scale improvement projects and smaller, ongoing UX enhancements.
About You
As a Digital Product Designer at Mous, you’ll work collaboratively with our Brand & Creative and eComm teams. You will report directly to our Graphic Design Lead, working closely with our E-Commerce Product Lead.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone eager to contribute to a fast-paced environment, playing a crucial role in driving our website’s evolution with creativity, precision, and commercial awareness.
Key Responsibilities
- Own the UX and UI design of the Mous website across all devices.
- Translate our brand identity into a fast, responsive, elegant, and intuitive digital experience.
- Lead major website improvement projects
- Drive ongoing UX enhancements including CRO A/B Tests, new functionality and accessibility improvements.
- Conduct user research and usability testing, using insights to iterate and validate design decisions.
- Collaborate with developers, consultants, and eComm teams to ensure high-quality execution.
- Balance user needs with commercial goals, ensuring every change delivers impact.
How success will be measured
- Demonstrating commercial impact through improved conversion and customer experience.
- Delivering the brand redesign across the site to ensure premium, consistent quality.
- Establishing and refining user-centered design processes, including documentation and usability testing.
- Onboarding effectively within 3 months: auditing the design system, leading at least one end-to-end initiative, and embedding yourself into team workflows.
Skills Requirements
Must-haves:
- 3+ years’ experience in UX/UI or digital product design.
- Strong portfolio showcasing UX process, prototyping, and polished responsive UI.
- Proficiency with design tools (Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, Webflow, Framer).
- Solid knowledge of user-centred design, especially mobile-first.
- Experience in usability testing and user research.
- Familiarity with agile processes and cross-functional collaboration.
- Understanding of accessibility standards and best practices.
Nice-to-have:
- Experience designing for Shopify or eCommerce platforms.
- CRO or A/B testing experience.
- Motion/interaction design knowledge.
- Familiarity with analytics tools and data-driven design.
- HTML/CSS knowledge.
Soft skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management.
- Highly collaborative; comfortable working with devs, marketers, and external partners.
- Strong organisational and prioritisation skills.
- Confident in taking ownership and driving structure.
