We are looking to recruit a Document Automation Engineer to join our Knowledge Management team. In this role you will carry out day to day automation work, maintaining the flow of projects and working with our knowledge lawyers and wider department. You will be experienced in document automation and used to working with people at different levels of seniority. About the role
- Work closely with subject matter experts on document automation projects.
- Attend to document automation support requests.
- Complete administrative tasks pertaining to the efficient management and maintenance of the document automation service.
- Work with other teams, such as IT, to build document automation solutions.
- Build and maintain key relationships in the business ensuring clients experience an engaging, professional, and efficient service.
- Assist in building and maintaining a document automation knowledge base.
- Support system upgrades as and when required.
- Maintain test scripts and requirement documentation.
- Ensure the necessary analysis and impact assessment is carried out prior to committing changes to live automated templates.
- Keep abreast of activity in the document automation space.

- Experience of working on complex automation projects, showing a structured and methodical approach.
- Demonstrate understanding of best practice.
- Can support people with patience and confidence to ensure business needs are met whilst adhering to document automation processes and procedures.
- Ability to familiarise yourself with existing automated templates, in order to apply updates with efficiency and accuracy.
- Organised, ensuring all administrative tasks relating to the management of templates and support requests are undertaken with efficiency and diligence.
- Proactive, using initiative to make suggestions for improvement and bringing further efficiencies.
- Ensure work is completed in a timely manner, whilst adapting to changing priorities as required.
- A team player who is able to work with people at all levels, showing the ability to adjust to different audiences, but also comfortable working independently when required.
- Experienced in supporting the on-boarding of other template developers.
