£14.50 per hour plus service charge. We’re looking for a passionate and reliable Chef de Partie to join the opening team of a new restaurant within a 4-star boutique hotel in Marylebone. This is a great opportunity to be part of a project focused on refined, seasonal food, where the priority is consistency, quality, and doing things properly. The kitchen will operate across multiple outlets, including restaurant service, breakfast, afternoon tea, and in-room dining.

The Role

Working closely with the Sous Chef and Head Chef, you will play an important role in the day-to-day running of the kitchen. You’ll help maintain standards, support the team, and ensure a smooth and consistent service across all areas. You’ll also be comfortable working across different service periods, assisting with the transition between breakfast, afternoon tea, and à la carte, while maintaining organisation, consistency, and clear communication throughout.

Responsibilities

  • Run your section during prep and service.
  • Maintain consistency and quality in every dish.
  • Keep your section clean, organised, and well prepared.
  • Work closely with the senior team to ensure smooth service.
  • Support and guide junior chefs where needed.

About You

  • Experience as a Chef de Partie or strong Commis ready to step up.
  • Background in quality-driven kitchens.
  • Good understanding of kitchen organisation and hygiene standards.
  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
  • Ability to stay calm and focused during busy services.
  • Passion for well-executed, seasonal food.
  • Experience or interest in pastry and bread making would be an advantage.
