We offer A la carte dining in our restaurant, bar meals and conferences during the week. We are also a wedding & party venue, so your experience will be needed here too.
You will be working directly with the Head Chef, delegating tasks, directing the food preparation, setting up high-quality dishes all while creating menus and developing dishes. This role would suit a very strong Senior Chef de Partie seeking their first Sous Chef role or a Sous Chef looking for a new challenge in their career.
Some of the responsibilities of these roles include:
- Supervising all kitchen stations and team members
- Supporting and motivating kitchen staff of all levels
- Being responsible for health and safety and food hygiene practices
- Ensuring food quality and high standards are maintained for all dishes
- Monitoring stock movement and ensuring there is minimum wastage
- Taking the role of the Head Chef in their absence and/or when needed
- High level of attention to details
