Mountjoy specialises in providing professional and high-quality construction, refurbishment, building maintenance and facilities management services across the south of England. We have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic IT Support Analyst to join our dynamic team for a fixed term period of 6 months. This position is well suited to an individual that is looking to advance their career and gain hands-on experience in a thriving and supportive workplace.
SUMMARY OF ROLE
The role will consist 70% of supporting and prioritising ad-hoc, urgent, recurring, or reactive internal support tasks, and 30% of analyst-related tasks taking proactive measures, improving process efficiencies, and carrying out trend-analyses.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Post-image laptop/desktop configurations with access tested, following through new starter requests E2E from request to end-user acceptance.
- Mobile/tablet setups with the correct policy applied/created within our Mobile Device Management tool.
- New policy for app management created where necessary.
- Correctly escalating and following up on respective IT issues with the applicable partner and users.
- Keeping our asset management tracker up to date to reflect the correct data of our ICT assets.
- This includes accurate tracking of changes within the business (e.g. changed IT requirements for a user due to a change in their role).
- Raising order requests if spare IT stock levels drop below agreed threshold.
- Following through orders E2E from request to end-user acceptance.
- Ensuring IT devices, cables, setups in our offices are well-presented.
- Reviewing and updating our internal ICT processes where applicable.
- Flagging operational inefficiencies and where authorised, proactively apply improvement measures.
- Accurately logging issues, errors with our suppliers and then flagging patterns identified, so that recurring issues can be remedied.
SKILLS REQUIRED
- Confidence and approachability

KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED
- Good working knowledge of MS Office including Word, Excel
- Knowledge of M365 is preferred but not required
- Knowledge of Azure is preferred but not required
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED
Must have achieved at least Level 2 in Maths and English
EXPERIENCE
Experience in a similar IT supportive role. Preferred but not required experience with mobile device support, configuration and usage of an MDM (Mobile Device Management) product.
