ABOUT THE ROLE
We are searching for passionateSupport Workers to join our Mounties Care Team supporting our clients across Rockdale, Kogarah, Ramsgate, Hurstville, Bexley, Penshurst and surrounding areas. There are multiple opportunities available – Casual, Part-time, Overnight and Live-In Care!
As a Support Worker, some of your duties will include but are not limited to:
- Accompanying clients during daily activities running errands and going on outings
- Food preparation and shopping
- Assisting in personal care and hygiene such as showering and dressing
- Performing household tasks such as cleaning, washing and folding clothes
- Providing social interaction and companionship
- Transport to appointments
- Live in Care services (for the right candidate)
ABOUT YOU
The ideal candidate will ideally have:
- 1+ year experience in aged care or disability support
- Cert III in Individual Support or similar β desirable
- Disability or dementia experience β desirable
- NDIS Worker Check or Police Check (or willing to obtain)
- First Aid & CPR (or willing to obtain)
- COVID-19 vaccination (at least 2 doses)
- Own vehicle with insurance
- Good communication skills
