Opportunities now exist for nurturing and compassionate Carers to provide support for our wonderful clients based in Ryde, NSW. We are looking for reliable carers who can commit to shifts on an ongoing basis.
About the Role
We are searching for passionate Community Support Workers to join our Mounties Care Team. There are multiple opportunities available - casual and live-in Care Opportunities!
- Accompanying clients during daily activities running errands and going on outings
- Food preparation and shopping
- Assisting in personal care and hygiene such as showering and dressing
- Performing household tasks such as cleaning, washing and folding clothes
- Providing social interaction and companionship
- Transport to appointments
- Live in Care services (for the right candidate)
About You
The ideal candidate will ideally have:
- Hold a Certificate 3 in Individual Support or similar qualification - essential
- Previous experience in aged care or disability – at least one year
- Hold a COVID-19 Vaccination
- Current Police Check – or willing to obtain
- Current First Aid Cert including CPR – or willing to obtain
- Must have own car & relevant insurances
- Dementia care qualification – desirable
- Proficient verbal and written communication skills
