A well established engineering company are recruiting for a Design Manager to join their team working in their HV substation division. The company specialise in the Utilities and Renewables sector across the UK and are going through an exciting growth phase. They have a number of projects in the pipeline ranging from 33kv up to 132kv, working on some of the most well known Power projects in the UK.
You will be responsible for managing a portfolio of substation design projects along with daily management of a team of Design Engineers. The company work on a variety of projects including HV and LV substations, cabling, overhead lines, rail, onshore and offshore windfarms and solar farms.
The right candidate will have the following experience:
- Substation Design experience within the HV sector, particularly 132kv
- Experience of 33kv and above desirable
- Strong understanding of working with DNOs
- Driving license preferable
The role is paying up to £100,000 for the right candidate plus hybrid working, pension, private family medical healthcare and 25 days holiday plus bank holidays.
