Air Charter Service are the number one aviation broker globally, having started in the basement of our Chairman's home. We now employ over 600 people across the globe and provide tailored brokering services to our Cargo, Commercial and Private Jet customers. From film stars who require a private jet, sports teams who need a commercial airline to logistics companies who need to move cargo worldwide. We're excited to offer an opportunity for an aviation enthusiast to join our Operations team to help provide around the clock coverage and operational support to all of our employees across the globe, ensuring each charter goes off without a hitch!
Duties will include but are not limited to:
- Providing 24/7 365 coverage and operational support to ACS brokers worldwide, in person from our Surbiton based Head Office
- Work closely with our onsite rep team and customer experience to mitigate any issues which may arise on day of flight
- Provide operational information and assisting in setup of charters for all brokers in all global divisions
- Being there every step of the way with live charter flights – providing a full service to our brokers and advising if there are any potential issues
- Flight Watching, tracking all aspects of the flight, keeping the brokers informed and sending movement messages to brokers (and clients when requested)
- Building relationships with airline operators, FBOs and Airports worldwide
- Continuous duty for OCC to update ACS CRM and compliance systems – updating Airline/Airport/Handling information to ensure ACS has the most accurate and up-to-date data available
- Completing daily reports and communications to be sent out to worldwide teams and management, advising brokers of potential risks to upcoming operations
- Balancing operational constraints with service goals (on-time performance, passenger satisfaction)
Qualifications / Desired attributes:
- A genuine interest in Aviation and a passion for exceeding customer service expectations
- Flexible - must be able to work 12 hour shift patterns including night shifts, weekends & bank holidays
- Fluency in English is essential
- Ambition, drive and self-motivation
- A professional communicator both verbally and written
- Can work independently, as well as part of a team
- Excellent problem solving and able to think outside the box to find solutions
- MUST live within 45 minutes commute of our Surbiton HQ
Starting salary £31,000 pa, increasing to £33,500 pa after successful completion of probation period. Working hours are varied, these include weekends & bank holidays, shifts will be allocated on a rota basis. The shift patterns are 3 on 3 off, 06:00 - 18:00 or 18:00 - 06:00. Training provided on site. Office based role based in our Surbiton HQ.
