We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Legal Secretary / Personal Assistant to support senior members of our legal team. This is a fast-paced and varied role requiring excellent administrative, communication, and coordination skills. You will play a key role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the legal function.
Day to day duties will include but are not limited to:
- Provide comprehensive PA support to senior legal team members, including complex diary management and scheduling
- Coordinate internal and external meetings, including preparing agendas and supporting documentation
- Act as the first point of contact for the legal team, managing queries efficiently and professionally
- Manage shared mailboxes, ensuring timely responses and appropriate escalation where required
- Prepare, format, and proofread reports, presentations, and legal documents
- Support the contract lifecycle process, including tracking, filing, and administrative coordination
- Arrange travel, meetings, and associated logistics
- Assist with policy management, record keeping, audits and information requests
- Support the effective use of technology including AI-enabled tools and digital systems to improve efficiency and consistency across the wider legal team.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a Legal Administrator, PA, or similar administrative role (legal environment preferred)
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
- Exceptional organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks
- Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Proactive, adaptable, and able to work both independently and as part of a team
