Mountain Youth Academy (a UHS company) is seeking a Licensed Therapist (LPC/LCSW/LMFT). Mountain Youth Academy is centrally located near Johnson City, TN, Boone, NC, and Abingdon, VA. We are a 120‑bed residential treatment facility and assist in the evaluation, diagnosis and treatment of a wide range of behavioral health issues for our young adolescent patients.

Retention Bonus Available: Mountain Youth Academy is offering a $15,000.00 retention bonus for licensed therapists or those eligible for licensure in the State of Tennessee, who meet the expectations of the job description, who agree to remain continually and actively employed at a full‑time status, and who successfully perform their job duties from their start date to a predetermined payout period. A copy of the full retention bonus will be reviewed during the interview process.

Position Summary: This position is responsible for overseeing and coordinating the delivery of student continuing care and family services. This includes providing clinical support, conducting interventions, conducting psychosocial assessments, developing the student’s treatment plan, and conducting group, individual and family therapy.
