At CooperSurgical we are currently looking to recruit a Supply Chain Manager for our Plant in Falmouth, United Kingdom. You will have 6 direct reports, 4 buyers and 2 product planners all working on-site, 5 days a week. This role reports to the Director of Supply Chain Execution.
The job is on-site, and one must be eligible to work in UK and speak/write fluent English.

Position
In the role of Supply Chain Manager, you will develop and monitor the site supply chain strategy and assure finished goods and raw materials stock levels (material availability). Lead the site supply chain team to provide timely and cost-effective delivery and inventory management including developing skillsets and empowering the team to autonomous decision making. Ensure optimization and standardization throughout procure-to-pay and plan-to-make processes. Excellent stakeholder communication concerning production planning and replenishment planning will be part of the success criteria for the role.

Your key responsibilities
• Manage and Lead the Supply Chain Team
• Conduct site capacity planning
• Reduce and optimize inventory levels
• Lead process improvement projects and ensure lean processes are implemented
• Establish and monitor performance metrics for function and team
• Drive and establish best practices in procurement and production planning
• Work with Global Supply Chain organization to achieve business and financial objectives
• Maintain accurate records and documentation
QUALIFICATIONS
Your Qualifications
• Relevant degree in SCM, Logistics, production or related area
• + 2- 4 years as Manager or Team lead for Supply Chain
• Worked in an International setup
• Well-versed in MS-Office and other relevant systems such as ERP (preferably Navision) and advanced Excel skills
• Collaborative with a structured approach.
• Eye for detail and meticulous
• Proactive and solution focused
