As a Stock Assistant, you’ll play a crucial role in ensuring the store remains well-stocked and organised for a seamless shopping experience. From receiving and replenishing deliveries to maintaining accurate inventory levels, you’ll help keep the store running efficiently while upholding high standards of stock presentation, safety, and compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Team Collaboration: Work harmoniously with colleagues, foster an inclusive and supportive team environment; participate in team discussions and problem-solving; share knowledge to support and train both new and existing team members.
- Operational Excellence: Receive and process deliveries, accept incoming shipments, check accuracy, and ensure products are stocked and stored to maintain inventory integrity; replenish stock and maintain store presentation; regular housekeeping and cleanliness of store areas.
- Customer Engagement: Build connections with customers, understand their needs, provide tailored solutions, address inquiries promptly and professionally, and represent the Mountain Warehouse brand with enthusiasm.
- Sales & Performance: Work with the team to meet and exceed sales targets; support management in identifying growth opportunities.
