The Freight Analyst is responsible for freight reporting, data integrity, shipment visibility, and performance analysis across the global inbound supply chain.

The role works closely with freight providers and internal stakeholders to provide accurate reporting, actionable insights, and support continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain freight reporting tools, dashboards and performance metrics.
  • Work with freight forwarding partners to improve data quality, reporting accuracy, and shipment visibility.
  • Create and maintain Apollo as the single source of truth for freight and shipment data across the business.
  • Analyse freight performance data and identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Provide regular reporting on purchase orders, shipments, transit times, exceptions and service performance.
  • Support management of purchase order and shipment tracking processes across all regions.
  • Work closely with Supplier Compliance and Supply Chain teams to provide clear visibility of product flow through the network.
  • Produce KPI reports and performance analysis for internal stakeholders and freight providers.
  • Investigate freight exceptions, delays, and data discrepancies and recommend corrective actions.
  • Support continuous improvement projects through data analysis and performance measurement.
  • Convert large volumes of operational and statistical data into meaningful business insights and recommendations.
  • Assist with freight invoice validation and reporting to support accurate cost management.
  • Share reporting and trend analysis with Supply Chain teams to support planning and decision-making.
