What will I be doing?

  • We are dedicated to supporting and caring for young individuals aged between 10-17 years old.
  • Our dedicated team are here to help young people through their challenges and provide them with the tools and guidance they need every single day.
  • Developing positive relationships with the young people in our care, their families and external agencies.
  • Contributing to the young persons care plans and any risk assessments, supporting with implementation and reviews.
  • Supporting young people with daily activities, educational needs and emotional wellbeing.
  • Ensuring that good quality records are maintained as required.

What we are looking for?

  • We welcome applications from people who have previous experience in a children's residential setting or similar role.
  • People who have the ability to interact with young people and manage challenging behaviours calmly.
  • A full UK driving licence.
  • You must also be over 21 years of age to meet industry regulations.
  • Level 3 / 4 Diploma in Children's & Young Peoples workforce would be great although this is not essential.
  • Flexibility to work shifts including weekends, evenings and sleep-in duties on a rota basis.
