About the Role

Location: Base location will be The Horizon SARC, Hodge Hill, Birmingham. Additional locations: cross-site working may be required to meet business needs.

Salary: £43,443.05 per annum, pro rata, based on 40 hours per week (£20.83 per hour). Part-time post – 32 hours per week.

Key Responsibilities

  • Forensic examinations and obtaining forensic exhibits
  • Develop forensic strategies according to FFLM guidelines
  • Actively work in partnership with external MDTs and the police
  • First point of contact for victims, police and social services to discuss referral pathways
  • Manage and promote the self-referral pathway
  • Undertake holistic assessments including sexual health, mental health and safeguarding
  • Produce individual management plans
  • Support the continued quality improvement of the service
  • Work under the Forensic Science regulator requirements
  • Obtain consent for health and forensic procedures
