The predicted salary is between 46000 - 52000 £ per year.
Responsibilities Perform forensic examinations and obtain forensic exhibits.
Develop forensic strategies according to FFLM guidelines.
Work actively in partnership with external MDTs and Police.
Serve as point of contact for Police and Social Services to discuss referral pathways.
Undertake holistic assessments including sexual health, mental health, and safeguarding.
Support the continued quality improvement of the service.
Work under the Forensic Science Regulator requirements.
Obtain consent for health and forensic procedures.
Qualifications GMC‑registered Doctor with a minimum of 3 years of relevant post‑Foundation experience.
Knowledge and understanding of safeguarding children and adults.
Knowledge and understanding of confidentiality.
Experience working in sexual health, paediatrics, GP or Obs/Gynaecology.
UK driving licence required and access to a vehicle.
Advanced DBS and level2 Police vetting (requires residency for 3 years in the UK).
Medical indemnity by start date required.
Desired: Diploma in Legal Medicine or membership of the Faculty for Forensic and Legal Medicine.
Previous experience working in a SARC setting or custodial environments is desirable.
