Responsibilities

  • Forensic examinations and obtaining forensic exhibits.
  • Develop Forensic strategies according to FFLM guidelines.
  • Actively working in partnership with external MDTs and Police.
  • 1st point of contact for victims, Police and Social Services to discuss referral pathways.
  • Manage and promote the self‑referral pathway.
  • Undertaking holistic assessments including sexual health, mental health, and safeguarding.
  • Producing individual management plans.
  • Supporting the continued quality improvement of the service.
  • Working under the Forensic Science Regulator requirements.
  • Obtaining consent for Health and Forensic procedures.

A premier partner of NHS England and the police, our unique provisions include Sexual Assault Referral Centres (SARCs), Police Custodial Healthcare, Secure Estate Healthcare and clinical telephone advice.

Compensation & Shift Pattern

Hourly rate £19.93. Shift working, covering 24/7/365. 1am‑9am, 9am‑5pm, 5pm‑1am, 5‑1 and 1‑9 shifts will be on call as will weekend 9‑5 shifts unless required on site (monthly deep cleans, training, etc).
