Cross-site working may be required to meet business needs.

Salary: £43,443.05 per annum, pro rata based on 40 hours per week (£20.83 per hour).

Part-time post – 32 hours per week.

Responsibilities

  • Forensic examinations and obtaining forensic exhibits.
  • Develop forensic strategies according to FFLM guidelines.
  • Actively work in partnership with external MDTs and the Police.
  • Be the first point of contact for victims, Police and Social Services to discuss referral pathways.
  • Manage and promote the self- referral pathway.
  • Undertake holistic assessments including sexual health, mental health, and safeguarding.
  • Produce individual management plans.
  • Support the continued quality improvement of the service.
  • Work under the Forensic Science Regulator requirements.
  • Obtain consent for health and forensic procedures.

Essential Skills

  • Qualified Registered Nurse, Midwife, or Paramedic.
  • A minimum of 3 years + relevant post-qualification experience.
  • Knowledge and understanding of safeguarding children and adults.
  • Experience of working with vulnerable adults and children.
  • Knowledge and understanding of confidentiality.
  • Lives within 45 minutes of Hodge Hill, Birmingham.
  • A full UK driving licence.
  • Experience of autonomous working.
  • Due to the nature of the role, applications are invited from females only.

  • Travel across SARCs may be required; access to a vehicle is necessary.
  • Advanced DBS and level 2 Police vetting will be required.
