The predicted salary is between 30000 - 40000 £ per year.
Retainer rates: £30.56 per 8‑hour shift (09:00 Monday – 08:59 Saturday) and £40.24 per 8‑hour shift (09:00 Saturday – 08:59 Monday). Attendance payment: £16.01 per hour, minimum 3 hours per case. Shift patterns: 24/7 rota coverage; 365/6 days per year. Bank – 0 hours; expectation to complete enough hours to maintain competence and meet minimum case exposure, discussed at interview.
Main duties of the job:
- First point of contact for service users.
- Support the processing of service users and their families visiting the centre, including preparing patients and assisting with collection of forensic evidence.
- Maintain high standard of DNA anti‑contamination between forensic cases (cleaning).
- Assist patients and liaise with other agencies regarding management of the service user pathway.
- Assist with preparation, service user support and act as advocate during their time at the SARC.
- Act as a key player within the SARC team and the wider company network.

Qualifications and experience:
- Basic IT skills and administration.
- Experience in a supportive or customer‑focused environment.

- Valid UK driving licence and access to a vehicle (possible travel across SARCs).
- Advanced DBS and level 2 Police vetting.
