We are looking for an experienced technician to join our team, ideally with a minimum level 3 standard. Holding a valid MOT Tester qualification would be advantageous. We are a small independent garage, with a team of technicians and a dedicated customer service desk, working on cars and light commercials.

The successful applicant will be carrying out repairs and services on customer vehicles; no job is the same, and we provide full support. We are a friendly local garage and would like to hear from those who either wish to work 5 days or part-time/flexible. We do not open Saturdays or late nights, and a competitive salary is available for the right candidate, starting at £40,000+.

If you are an MOT tester, you will also receive a bonus for testing onsite.

  • Knowledge of motor vehicles and performing diagnosis, repair, and maintenance tasks.
  • Explaining vehicle work to customers and discussing vehicle cases with other team members.
  • Diagnostic and problem-solving skills for determining vehicle problems and how to resolve them.
  • Manual dexterity for working on vehicle parts, including sensitive sensors and electronic components.
  • Performing vehicle maintenance tasks, such as changing oil and air filters, as required.
  • Competency using diagnostic equipment.
  • Maintaining a safe working environment to ensure equipment longevity and workplace safety.
