Are you a warm, caring individual ready to make a difference in the lives of older adults? We are looking for dedicated individuals to provide personalised care and support at Fitzwilliam Court, our extra care service in Hoyland, Barnsley. This role helps older people maintain their wellbeing and lead active, independent lives. We offer both full-time and part-time positions with flexible hours.
You will provide respectful personal care, emotional support, meal preparation, and help with daily tasks to maintain independence. You will support medication management, encourage participation in activities, and foster social connections. Your role also involves responding to changing needs and emergencies, ensuring safe living environments, and working with families, health professionals, and housing officers.
Experience in care is desirable but not essential; full training is provided. Key qualities include compassion, reliability, and accountability.
