Outdoor & Sports Company Limited is the holding company that operates the outdoor brands Mountain Equipment, Sprayway, Ronhill, Hilly and Trekmates. We are looking for a Sustainability Manager to join our team and lead sustainability across the group.
The Role: You will lead a small team working cross‑departmentally to embed sustainability across the group. You will work collaboratively across our business and with external partners, acting as a vital link within the OSC group. This role leads on both environmental and human rights due diligence across our supply chain, sourcing, packaging, reporting, GHG calculations, chemical management and workplace driving for visibility and working to best practice.
The Candidate: Educated to degree level, or a similar level qualification in a related field. You should ideally have previous experience in a supply chain role. Experience in the apparel/sewn goods supply chain. Experience in working and collaborating with teams across multiple networks. Be highly organised, obsessive about detail and take the initiative. Ability to communicate confidently at all levels, with professionalism, knowledge and commitment as a spokesperson for all OSC brands. Experience managing teams and working with external stakeholders with commercial outcomes. Confident communicator with excellent written and verbal communication skills. Highly organised with strong project management and prioritisation.
Location: This is a fixed full‑time position based in Hyde, Greater Manchester, with some home‑office working. After successful probation, we operate a hybrid working scheme requiring you to be in the office 3 days per week.
