We are recruiting for a Team Administrator who shares our vision to be trusted to provide consistently outstanding care and exemplary service to our patients. This is an exciting opportunity to join the Volunteer and Support & Information Services team at Mount Vernon Cancer Centre based at the Lynda Jackson Centre. The post is crucial to the smooth running of the centre providing valuable administrative support to our volunteer, patient information, drop-in and complementary therapy team.

Responsibilities

  • Provide excellent customer service, ensuring that all telephone callers are greeted promptly, professionally and politely.
  • Provide a central point of reference for the Voluntary Services.
  • Manage constantly changing priorities and deadlines.
  • Handle volunteer and public enquiries courteously, efficiently and with an awareness of the needs of the caller.
  • Support specialist staff teams with administrative duties as required for example: maintaining volunteer records, administering recruitment and training of volunteers, coordinating staff and volunteer rotas, logging activity and reports, taking bookings for health and wellbeing initiatives, updating information leaflets.

Benefits

In addition, you will receive a High Cost Area Supplement of 15% of your basic salary, subject to a minimum payment of £4,314 and a maximum payment of £5,436 per annum pro rata.
