Key Reporting Line/ Reports to: Assistant Food & Beverage Manager/Food & Beverage Manager
Scope: Assist the Food & Beverage Manager and Food & Beverage Assistant by ensuring the highest standards of Food & Beverage service within all Food & Beverage outlets in the Hotel. You will report to the Assistant Food and Beverage Manager, working towards providing our guests with memorable experiences of the restaurant.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the food and beverage manager in building an effective team through effective leadership and setting the right example.
- Work with the F&B Managers to take responsibility for training and development of employees, departmental induction, monthly department meetings, planning, assigning and delegating work.
- Be highly courteous and give our guests a memorable service and lasting impression.
- Provide exceptional service by demonstrating full knowledge of our products and facilities.
- Ensure that the daily task list is completed effectively.
- Work collaboratively with your colleagues to deliver captivating experiences.
- Take initiative in accommodating our guests' needs in a resourceful manner.
- Assist the Manager to train and coach in a systematic and professional way to consistently achieve service standards and product delivery.
- Deal with guest complaints by following the correct procedures.
- Positively promote sales awareness within the department and maximise sales opportunities.
Qualifications/Experience
- Excellent guest engagement skills.
- Previous Hospitality Experience.
- Ability to demonstrate excellent customer service skills.
- Previous experience handling customer requests and complaints.
- Well organised, outgoing and service minded.
- The ability to communicate and organise yourself in line with different guest expectations.
- A good command of English is essential, a second language is advantageous.
