Scope: Assist the Food & Beverage Manager and Food & Beverage Assistant by ensuring the highest standards of Food & Beverage service within all Food & Beverage outlets in the Hotel.
You will report to theAssistant Food and Beverage Manager, working towards providing our guests with memorable experiences of the restaurant.
Key Responsibilities
A Food and Beverage Supervisorwill:
- Assist the food and beverage manager in building an effective team through effective leadership and setting the right example?
- Work with the F&B Managers to tale responsibility for training and development of employees, departmental induction, monthly department meetings, planning, assigning and delegating work?
- Be highly courteous and give our guests a memorable service and lasting impression
- Provide exceptional service by demonstrating full knowledge of our products and facilities
- Ensure that the daily task list is completed effectively
- Work collaboratively with your colleagues to deliver captivating experiences
- Take initiative in accommodating our guests needs in a resourceful manner
- Assist the Manager to train and coach in a systematic and professional way to consistently achieve service standards and product delivery
- Deal with guest complaints by following the correct procedures?
- Positively promote sales awareness within the department and?maximise?sales opportunities
Qualifications/Experience
To be successful in the role offood and beverage supervisor, we require:
- Excellent guest engagement skills
- Previous Hospitality Experience
- Ability to demonstrate excellent customer service skills
- Previous experience handling customer requests and complaints
- Well organised, outgoing and service minded
- The ability to communicate and organize yourself in line with different guest expectations
- A good command of English is essential, a second language is advantageous
