The Mount Royal Hotel Edinburgh by the Unlimited Collection is seeking a charming and engaging Porter with a passion for service excellence. You will report to the Assistant Front Office Manager, supporting/working towards providing our guests with memorable experiences of the city.

The Porter will be responsible for:

  • Guest Services: Offers a warm welcome, provides accurate information, assists with luggage, and ensures comfort and safety.
  • Checklists & Procedures: Completes checklists as per SOPs, maintains presence at the entrance, and complies with Health & Safety and Hygiene procedures.
  • Deliveries & Requests: Manages deliveries, local transport bookings, and handles guest feedback and requests.
  • Team Collaboration: Works as part of a team, promotes hotel facilities, and supports colleagues.
  • General Duties: Keeps lobby tidy, follows manual handling techniques, and may work as night porter when needed.
