Our team provides strategic, financial, and operational oversight across the portfolio, supporting both investment activities and operating companies.

The Role

The Junior Accountant will support the day-to-day accounting and reporting processes for a multi-jurisdictional group of entities. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to develop their career within an international investment environment, gaining exposure to group reporting, multi-entity structures, and financial operations. This is a part-time, office-based role requiring 2 full working days per week in our Soho office.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accounting & Bookkeeping
    • Assist with bookkeeping across multiple group entities
    • Process invoices, payments, and bank reconciliations
    • Maintain accurate and up-to-date accounting records
    • Support month-end close processes
  • Reporting Support
    • Assist in preparing management accounts and reporting packs
    • Support variance analysis and basic financial reporting
    • Help maintain supporting schedules and reconciliations
  • Statutory & Compliance
    • Support preparation of statutory accounts for UK entities
    • Liaise with external accountants and service providers where required
    • Assist with audit preparation and documentation
  • Portfolio & Operational Support
    • Assist in collecting and reviewing financial information from portfolio companies
    • Support internal reporting and ad hoc analysis
    • Process & Administration
    • Maintain organised financial records and documentation
    • Support improvements in processes and internal controls
    • Provide general finance and administrative support to the team

Candidate Profile

Experience

  • 2–3 years of accounting or finance experience
  • Experience in bookkeeping or accounts assistant role preferred
  • Exposure to multi-entity environments is a plus
  • Part-qualified (ACCA, ACA or equivalent)
  • Relevant degree in Accounting, Finance, or similar
