Our team provides strategic, financial, and operational oversight across the portfolio, supporting both investment activities and operating companies.
The Role
The Junior Accountant will support the day-to-day accounting and reporting processes for a multi-jurisdictional group of entities. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to develop their career within an international investment environment, gaining exposure to group reporting, multi-entity structures, and financial operations. This is a part-time, office-based role requiring 2 full working days per week in our Soho office.
Key Responsibilities:
- Accounting & Bookkeeping
- Assist with bookkeeping across multiple group entities
- Process invoices, payments, and bank reconciliations
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date accounting records
- Support month-end close processes
- Reporting Support
- Assist in preparing management accounts and reporting packs
- Support variance analysis and basic financial reporting
- Help maintain supporting schedules and reconciliations
- Statutory & Compliance
- Support preparation of statutory accounts for UK entities
- Liaise with external accountants and service providers where required
- Assist with audit preparation and documentation
- Portfolio & Operational Support
- Assist in collecting and reviewing financial information from portfolio companies
- Support internal reporting and ad hoc analysis
- Process & Administration
- Maintain organised financial records and documentation
- Support improvements in processes and internal controls
- Provide general finance and administrative support to the team
Candidate Profile
Experience
- 2–3 years of accounting or finance experience
- Experience in bookkeeping or accounts assistant role preferred
- Exposure to multi-entity environments is a plus
- Part-qualified (ACCA, ACA or equivalent)
- Relevant degree in Accounting, Finance, or similar
Skills
- Basic understanding of accounting principles
