The Role
- Assisting with the preparation of monthly management accounts for each Group company.
- Month end journal postings.
- Posting, reconciliation & review of bank account ledgers, cash clearing accounts and balance sheet ledgers.
- Being the business partner to the internal customers of the business, answering financial queries & becoming a trusted source of advice, supporting budget holders in achieving financial targets.
- Supporting accounts payable and accounts receivable functions as and when required
- Compliance on legal/regulatory compliance/returns in the UK & ROI. E. g., VAT returns, government surveys, company filing
- The Person
- Strong numeracy, accuracy, and attention to detail
- Experience in finance or accounting environment (e. g., bookkeeping, bank reconciliations, accounts payable/receivable)
- Proficiency with Excel (formulas, filters, pivot tables, lookups)
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and work under supervision
- Excellent people and communication skills
- ERP experience desirable
- Systems and automation implementation experience desirable
