Mount Charles Group are committed to doing the right thing, having fun, and growing together! We are currently recruiting for a Cook Catering Manager to join our team based at our Trinity House, Coleraine site. This is a great opportunity to join a world-leading facilities management company.

Working Pattern: 40 hours per week, 4 out of 7 working days, 7:30am – 5pm. Must have weekend flexibility.

The Role:

  • To ensure all food is prepared and cooked to an exceptional standard, ensuring all HACCP regulations are adhered to.
  • Ensure the team are providing the highest level of customer service.
  • Work as part of the team to ensure the service is delivered on time and to the highest possible standard.
  • Completing any administration as requested.
  • Complete bookwork procedures in line with company requirements.
  • Report defective equipment work and floor surfaces to the relevant Head Office department.
  • Manage the team effectively to ensure all service areas are fully stocked.
  • Manage the unit in an efficient and effective manner ensuring all Gross profit targets are met.
  • Manage all aspects of hospitality catering.
  • Induct, train and appraise employees as per the Company procedures.
  • Ensure all Health, Safety and Hygiene policies and procedures are adhered to.
  • Comply with HACCP regulations as necessary.

The Person:

  • Previous experience working within a fast-paced catering/hospitality environment.
  • Demonstrable knowledge of HACCP.
  • Previous management/supervisory experience.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • Previous experience working in a contract catering environment.
  • NVQ level 2 & 3 or City & Guilds 706/1 & 2 or above.
  • Basic statutory training for the role will require all candidates to have basic reading, writing, speaking and listening skills to assist in understanding safety and work instructions and communicating with customers on a day-to-day basis.
