We are currently recruiting a Cleaning Operative to join our team at CAFRE, Greenmount. This is a great opportunity to join a world‑leading facilities management company.
Working Pattern
Monday – Friday, 9:00 am – 3:00 pm (3 hours per day) Times to be agreed at interview

The Role
- Ensure all areas are cleaned efficiently, timely and to the required standards, including weekly and periodic tasks
- Use cleaning chemicals safely as detailed by the Control of Substances Hazardous to Health guidelines (COSHH)
- Maintain full working knowledge of all cleaning equipment, materials and agents, and use them only after proper training
- Report immediately any faulty equipment, mark it as faulty and do not use it
- Use appropriate safety signage at all times, e.g., wet‑floor signs and warn customers where possible
- Keep cleaning stores clean and tidy, storing equipment correctly and safely at all times
The Person
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals/products and prior cleaning experience
- Customer‑focused with excellent eye for detail
- Good time‑management skills
- Experience working independently and ensuring tasks are completed
Basic statutory training for the role will require all candidates to have basic reading, writing, speaking and listening skills to understand safety and work instructions and to communicate with customers on a day‑to‑day basis.
