Working Pattern

  • Monday to Friday 10:00 am – 1:00 pm

The Role

  • Ensure all areas are cleaned efficiently and in a timely manner to the required standards, including weekly and periodic tasks.
  • Use cleaning chemicals safely as detailed by the Control of Substances Hazardous to Health guidelines (COSHH).
  • Maintain full working knowledge of all cleaning equipment, materials and agents and use equipment as directed by the Line Manager only after correct training is given.
  • Report immediately any faulty equipment, mark it as faulty and do not use it.
  • Use appropriate safety signage at all times, e.g., wet floor signs, and warn customers where possible.
  • Keep cleaning stores clean and tidy and store equipment correctly and safely.

The Person

  • Knowledge and experience with cleaning chemicals/products.
  • Customer focused with a good eye for detail.
  • Good time‑management skills.
  • Experience of working independently and ensuring set tasks are completed.
  • Basic statutory training: candidates must have basic reading, writing, speaking and listening skills to understand safety and work instructions and to communicate with customers on a day‑to‑day basis.
