We are currently recruiting for a Mobile Catering Assistant to join our team based across Northern Ireland. This is a great opportunity to join a world leading facilities management company.
Working Pattern
- 37.5 hours per week
- 5 out of 7 Days per Week - Dependant on Business Needs
- Various Shift Patterns - Ordinarily between 7am and 6.30pm
- Own vehicle required (mileage paid)

The Role
- Reporting to the Operations Manager
- Planning, Preparation, and presentation of all meals served at the required time, adhering to the service level agreement and to the client, customer and Company satisfaction
- Adhering to special dietary requirements, paying particular attention to allergens
- Assist to control and monitor financial performance of the unit to pre budgeted targets
- Purchasing and stock control in accordance with company suppliers
- Maintaining cleanliness and hygiene of the unit to required standards
- Ensuring completion of due diligence records in line with Food safety policies
- Preparation of any hospitality catering as required, some of which may occur outside of normal working hours
- Take all necessary steps to ensure maximum security of the kitchen, store, office, safe and monies and any other areas under Mount Charles control
- To attend meetings or training courses as requested
- Preparation of Buffets and Hospitality
- Working as part of the team to maintain and deliver excellent customer service
The Person
- Minimum Level 2 award in Food Safety and Catering or equivalent
- Self-motivated, working independently and on own initiative to ensure set tasks completed
- Valid & Clean Driving Licence
- Own Method of Transport
- Flexible with a positive, can-do attitude
- Good time-management skills
- Attention to detail in all aspects of the work
- Leads by example and lives our values
- Enthusiastic about our customer service and reputation
- Basic statutory training for the role will require all candidates to have basic reading, writing, speaking and listening skills to assist in understanding safety and work instructions and communicating with customers on a day-to-day basis
