We are recruiting for a Mobile Chef to join our team at various sites in Northern Ireland. This is a chance to work with a world‑leading facilities management company, offering career progression.

Working Pattern

  • 5 Days per week (full flexibility required)
  • Various shift patterns – option to be flexible
  • 40 hours per week

The Role

  • Reporting to the Operations Manager
  • Planning, preparing and presenting all meals served at the required time, adhering to the service level agreement and client/customer/company satisfaction
  • Adhering to special dietary requirements, paying particular attention to allergens
  • Assisting to control and monitor financial performance of the unit to pre‑budgeted targets
  • Purchasing and stock control in accordance with company suppliers
  • Maintaining cleanliness and hygiene of the unit to required standards
  • Ensuring completion of due diligence records in line with food safety policies
  • Preparation of any hospitality catering as required, some of which may occur outside of normal working hours
  • Taking all necessary steps to ensure maximum security of the kitchen, store, office, safe and monies and any other areas under Mount Charles control
  • Attending meetings or training courses as requested
  • Preparation of buffets and hospitality
  • Working as part of the team to maintain and deliver excellent customer service

The Person

  • Minimum Level 2 award in Food Safety and Catering or equivalent
  • Full driving licence and a method of transport
  • Good communications skills
  • Ability to adhere to all health & safety practices
  • Strong customer service skills
  • High levels of personal hygiene and appearance
  • Ability to prioritise and have an eye for detail
  • Ability to demonstrate great teamwork skills
  • Basic statutory training: reading, writing, speaking and listening skills to assist in understanding safety and work instructions and communicating with customers on a day‑to‑day basis
