We are currently recruiting for a Food Service Assistant to join our team based at Trinity House, Garvagh. This is a great opportunity to join a world leading facilities management company.

Working Pattern: 40 hours per week, 4 days out of 7, 7:30am - 6pm

The Role:

  • Assist in the preparation, service and sales of all food and beverages for the unit
  • Provide the highest level of customer service in a consistent approach to anyone who uses the facility
  • Work as part of the team to ensure service is delivered on time and to a consistently high standard
  • Carry out all cleaning duties as per instruction from line manager or per unit cleaning rota
  • Ensure kitchen and service areas are always clean and tidy
  • Clear rooms of any trays, flasks
  • Be responsible for cash handling duties under your control
  • Keep up to date with current promotions and new products
  • Comply with all Health, Safety & Hygiene standards
  • Comply with all HACCP regulations as necessary
  • Follow procedures as directed on the correct handling and use of all cleaning materials
  • Complete any administration as requested which may include recording of food temperatures, updating cleaning schedules, cashing up tills and recording daily sales figures on the system
  • Assist with effective management of stock control

The Person:

  • Demonstrable passion for providing good customer service
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Flexibility and adaptability
  • Good navigation and time management
  • Workable knowledge of HACCP regulations
  • Basic food hygiene certificate
  • Basic statutory training for the role will require all candidates to have basic reading, writing, speaking and listening skills to assist in understanding safety and work instructions and communicating with customers on a day-to-day basis
