Job ref: RF-2609-21 Location: Belfast - Mount Charles Group Quantity of Posts Available: 1 Salary: Β£20,000 Our Sales and Retention team at The Mount Charles Group is searching for an ambitious and experienced Bid Manager to support its growing operations in NI and ROI. Ideally you will work from our Belfast Office two to three days per week, with the added flexibility to also work from home. You will be involved in the project management of the entire bid lifecycle. This will include researching, authoring, editing and challenging content, supporting the development of win strategies and persuasive delivery structures, whilst creating bid guidelines and managing relationships with internal and external stakeholders. You should have proven ability in delivering winning, high value product or services opportunities. Ideally you will have a background in solution selling and experience of bid management from opportunity identification through to project delivery, and provide valuable input into value proposition development, opportunity qualification, win strategy, commercial discussions, and solution delivery. Proven team leadership skills in office-based and virtual work environments. Must be an excellent communicator and comfortable working at CEO / Director Level (internal and external customer). Manage virtual bid teams and inputs from key stakeholders, typically engaging with sales, marketing, operations teams, finance, commercial, legal and project management / delivery. Contributing to the written proposal - both in terms of content and presentation (such as providing guidance around the executive summary). Ensure timescales are achieved at each step of the bid process, including all internal governance, while taking the initiative in setting realistic deadlines. Co-ordinate and plan all client presentations required as part of the bid submission. The Person: Ability to work as part of a multi-disciplined team, and lead operators to support the successful delivery of the bid programme Uses the right influencing techniques to gain the necessary commitment and support from others, both internally and externally. Essential Attributes: Expert writing skills and attention to detail 2 years+ bid management experience preferably within the Public Sector Proven track record in working on and winning complex, high value bids Proven track record of persuasive bid writing to create compelling sales documents Appropriate experience in tender management methodology Ability to manage complex, multi-service scenarios and to think clearly under pressure Advanced Word and Microsoft systems skills.
