Working Pattern: 40 hours per week

Monday, Wednesday and Friday: 08:00am – 3:00pm

Tuesday and Thursday: 08:00am – 5:30pm

Term-time only contract

The Role:

  • To ensure all food is prepared and cooked to an exceptional standard
  • Ensure the service counter is prepped and ready for service
  • Ensure the team is providing the highest level of customer service in a consistent approach to anyone who uses the facility
  • Completing any administration as requested which may include recording of food temperatures etc.
  • Complete bookwork procedures in line with company requirements
  • Ensure correct portion controls are in place
  • Manage the unit in an efficient and effective manner ensuring all Gross profit targets are met
  • Induct, train and appraise employees as per the Company procedures
  • Ensure all Health, Safety and Hygiene policies and procedures are adhered to
  • Comply with HACCP regulations as necessary
  • Ensure everyone in the team are following COSHH procedures for the use of chemicals

The Person:

  • Previous experience working within a fast‑paced catering/hospitality environment; demonstrable knowledge of HACCP
  • Previous management/ supervisory experience
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • The ability to work successfully as part of a team or individually
  • Previous experience working in a contract catering environment
  • NVQ level 2&3 or City & Guilds 706/ 1&2 or above
  • Basic statutory training for the role will require all candidates to have basic reading, writing, speaking and listening skills to assist in understanding safety and work instructions and communicating with customers on a day‑to‑day basis.
