We are currently recruiting for a Cleaning Operative to join our team at Lagan Valley Island, Lisburn. This is a great opportunity to join a world leading facilities management company.
Working Pattern:
- 11.25 hours per week Monday to Friday 5:00 pm – 7:15 pm
- Free on‑site car parking

The Role:
- Ensure all areas are cleaned efficiently and in a timely manner to the required standards, including weekly and periodic tasks.
- Use cleaning chemicals safely as detailed by the Control of Substances Hazardous to Health guidelines (COSHH).
- Maintain full working knowledge of all cleaning equipment, materials and agents and use them as directed by the line manager after appropriate training.
- Report immediately any faulty equipment, mark it as faulty and discontinue use.
- Ensure safety signage is used appropriately at all times, e.g. wet floor signs and warning customers where possible.
- Keep cleaning stores clean and tidy and store equipment correctly and safely at all times.
- Be knowledgeable about biological hazards; work may involve cleaning bodily fluids such as blood, faeces or vomit that can carry infectious diseases including hepatitis or HIV.
- Comply with all security regulations for cleaning materials, equipment and buildings as laid down by client and Mount Charles.
