Mount Charles Group is one of the largest privately owned soft facilities management providers in Ireland. We are currently recruiting a Cleaning Operative based at Translink, Larne.
Working Pattern:
- 37.5 hours per week
- 5 days out of 7
- Night-Time Role
- 8:30pm – 4:00am

The Role:
- Ensure all areas are cleaned efficiently and in a timely manner to the required standards
- Use cleaning chemicals safely as per the Control of Substances Hazardous to Health guidelines
- Have full working knowledge of all cleaning equipment, materials and agents and use equipment as directed by the line manager after correct training is given
- Report immediately any faulty equipment, mark it as faulty and do not use it
- Ensure safety signage is used appropriately at all times, e.g., wet floor signs, and warn customers where possible
- Keep cleaning stores clean and tidy and store equipment correctly and safely at all times
- Dispose of sharps such as needles and blades safely if required
- Comply with all security regulations for cleaning materials, equipment and buildings as laid down by client and Mount Charles
The Person:
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals/products and prior cleaning experience
- Customer focused with good eye for detail
- Good time management skills
- Experience of working independently and ensuring tasks are completed
- Basic reading, writing, speaking and listening skills to understand safety instructions and communicate with customers
