We are currently recruiting for an Industrial Manager to join our team covering a Multi-site in the Belfast area. This is a great opportunity to join a world leading facilities management company.
Working Pattern: 40 hours per week Monday - Friday 6am - 2pm

The Role:
- Oversee industrial cleaning services across multiple client sites (e.g., transport hubs, manufacturing, healthcare).
- Manage specialist cleaning programmes (deep cleans, hazardous cleaning, high-risk environments).
- Ensure consistent service delivery aligned to Mount Charles KPIs and SLAs.
- Lead all waste management activities including segregation, recycling, and disposal.
- Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and duty of care requirements.
- Drive sustainability initiatives in line with Mount Charles' commitment to environmentally responsible operations.
- Identify waste reduction opportunities and improve recycling performance.
- Ensure full adherence to HSE legislation, COSHH, and environmental regulations.
- Conduct risk assessments, audits, and site inspections.
- Maintain documentation including waste transfer notes and compliance records.
- Promote a strong safety-first culture across all teams.
- Act as a key contact for clients, ensuring high service standards and satisfaction.
- Support mobilisation of new contracts and continuous improvement of existing ones.
- Monitor performance across sites and implement corrective actions where required.
- Lead, develop, and manage cleaning and waste teams across multiple locations.
- Oversee recruitment, training, and performance management.
- Ensure appropriate staffing levels to meet 24/7 operational demands.
The Person:
- Significant experience in industrial cleaning or facilities management.
- Strong knowledge of waste management practices and environmental compliance.
- Experience managing multi-site operations and large teams.
- Knowledge of health & safety standards (COSHH, risk assessments, etc.).
- Proven ability to work in fast-paced, service-driven environments.
- Basic statutory training for the role will require all candidates to have basic reading, writing, speaking and listening skills to assist in understanding safety and work instructions and communicating with customers on a day-to-day basis.
