We are currently recruiting for an Area Manager to join our team looking after the Belfast area. This is a great opportunity to join a world leading facilities management company.

Working Pattern: 40 hours per week Monday - Friday

The Role:

  • Motivate, mentor, and empower teams to achieve operational goals.
  • Foster a positive work culture and drive employee engagement.
  • Ensure timesheets are collected and submitted on time.
  • Conduct staff onboarding, induction, appraisals, training assessments, absence and performance management.
  • Maintain standards in cleaning supplies and equipment usage.
  • Supervise staff presentation and adherence to dress code.
  • Oversee and ensure the smooth execution of services across multiple locations.
  • Maintain high standards in cleaning operations, compliance, and safety.
  • Build strong client relationships, ensuring all needs are met with professionalism and efficiency.
  • Address any concerns proactively to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Deliver high-quality cleaning services as per client requests.
  • Ensure employee performance aligns with company standards.
  • Achieve productivity improvements within the business area.
  • Understanding of cleaning industry standards and best practices.
  • Familiarity with payroll processes and HR systems.
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations.
  • Financial acumen for budget management.
  • Conduct weekly meetings with the Operations Manager.

The Person:

  • Full UK driving licence.
  • IT literacy in HR, payroll, and auditing systems.
  • Supervisory experience in multi-contract cleaning management.
  • Strong communication skills and leadership ability.
  • Financial and health & safety experience.
  • Previous BICS training.
  • Experience in office, industrial, and education sector cleaning.
  • Ability to multitask and perform under pressure.
  • Strong mentoring and motivation skills.
  • Basic statutory training for the role will require all candidates to have basic reading, writing, speaking and listening skills to assist in understanding safety and work instructions and communicating with customers on a day-to-day basis.
