We are currently recruiting for an Assistant Manager to join our team based at Northern Quarter, Belfast International Airport. This is an exciting opportunity to develop your leadership skills within a fast-paced hospitality environment while supporting the delivery of exceptional customer service and operational excellence.

Working Pattern: 40 hours per week, 5 days out of 7, Flexible shifts between 4am and 11pm

Role:

  • Support the Manager in the day-to-day operation of the business, ensuring high standards of service, food quality and customer satisfaction are consistently delivered.
  • Lead, motivate and support team members to achieve operational and service excellence.
  • Assist with staff scheduling, absence management, training and performance management.
  • Ensure company standards, policies and procedures are implemented and maintained at all times.
  • Monitor stock levels, place orders as required and minimise wastage.
  • Ensure compliance with all food safety, hygiene, health & safety and licensing requirements.
  • Handle customer feedback professionally and effectively, resolving issues in a timely manner.

The Person:

  • Previous experience in a supervisory, team leader or assistant management role within hospitality, retail or food service.
  • Strong leadership and people management skills with the ability to motivate and develop teams.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Good organisational and problem-solving abilities.
  • Commercial awareness with an understanding of sales, costs and operational performance.
  • Ability to work under pressure and make decisions in a fast-paced environment.
  • Flexible with a positive, can-do attitude.
  • Self-motivated and capable of working on their own initiative.

Basic statutory training for the role will require all candidates to have basic reading, writing, speaking and listening skills to assist in understanding safety and work instructions and communicating with customers and colleagues on a day-to-day basis.
